I would avoid ordering anything from this company. I ordered these set of jars and labels, and payed for shipping back in November. The labels arrived almost a month later but the jars did not, even though it showed they had been shipped. When I did not receive the jars, I proceeded to contact the company multiple times and discovered there is nobody you can call and you can only email or send a message to them through their website. I sent them multiple messages and finally received a generic response stating that someone would respond within 24-48 hours. When someone finally did get around to looking into what had happened, I received another generic response. The response reported that the item was “short-shipped” due to the item being out of stock along with a refund for the missing items and adjustment to the shipping cost. If that was out of stock, then why did nobody reach out to inform me you were sold out and why did you issue me a refund when I never requested that.

I love these my spice rack looks amazing. If you get the wood lids please know the width measurement is larger than what is listed in their dimensions.

Room for improvement

These jars are aesthetically pleasing, and great for keeping my spices organized. However, the interior plastic caps are not conducive for all spices, requiring me to remove the caps in most instances. Also, the black tops don’t all tighten as they should, which is problematic for salts that tend to clump if they are not properly sealed.

Okay — overall not impressed.

This is my first purchase from Neat Method. The spice area is the most annoying and first order of business, so I ordered 20 of these with the acacia lid. I was disappointed to find that the lid is rough, like you could possibly get a splinter from handling because the wood isn’t smooth or otherwise sealed. You also cannot clean the lid or submerge in water. The lid is basically an aluminum top with an acacia topper. For the price, I was dismayed to see that the lid is flimsy and glass appears to nick easily. I also think there should be a spot for the label, like an indentation so they can be placed evenly. Because the tops are round, they are ideal for standing on risers as opposed to laid flat in a drawer. I am thinking about whether to try and initiate a return, order more to keep it cohesive, or cut my losses and find a higher quality set.

Great set, exactly what i was looking for. I haven’t filled them yet but know they will provide an organized drawers. Shipping and packaging was perfect.
