These jars are not neat. I used them inside of a drawer with a Rev-A-Shelf Spice Drawer Organizer Insert, which was recommended by Neat Method on their social media. The powder/ground spices are always leaking when we open the jars. The lids are not good at doing their job. Very overpriced and not functional.

Obsessed

I am obsessed with my drawer of spices, I am opening the drawer just to admire them! I only have a couple of comments of the spice labels. There is a circle space on the bottom of the jar, but the expiration date circle is too big to fit. I used our label maker to print the dates to attach the exp date stickers so that I can reuse them, but I had to put them on the back of the jar. The other thing is, we have sumac and there is no label for that spice. I would love an option to buy other labels and I type in the names that I would like printed.

Almost perfect, but not quite.

What I like: The overall aesthetic is beautiful, the caps feel soft and grippy to the touch, and these jars fit *perfectly* in the spice drawers that came with my brand new kitchen cabinets (whereas store bought containers the spices came in do not). The price is higher than a lot of other options, but fair for a bit better quality. I see a bit because, well, see below. What I don't like: I wish they came with two different size shaker lids, like most store bought spice brands do. Small holes for fines, large holes for granules. These are only small holes, so fine for preground spices but herbs you have to remove the lid and pinch or portion. Not a huge deal when you're measuring to a recipe, but when you want to sprinkle herbs over poultry or to finish a dish, would be much better if they came with (or at least offered separately) a different hole size. The second thing that bugs me is I don't get the feeling the lids are on very tight. Half the time I try to tighten I feel the lid jump the threads, making me wonder if I'll eventually strip the cap. I hope not, these were expensive.

Spice Jars

Well packaged, high quality, and beautiful!

Love these. They look so nice. I wish the lid wasn’t plastic because it feels very breakable and like the paint will just flake off, but I still like these more than any I’ve seen.
