New NEAT City | Bucks County
We want to welcome Tiffany Lynch and Melanie Rickus of Bucks County, Pennsylvania to the NEAT team. We are thrilled to have them. Let’s find out more about what makes them so NEAT.
NM : Why do you want to run NEAT in your city?
TL : I fell in love with NEAT Method working for the Philadelphia franchise. I’m a true believer in NEAT's core values and method and want to expand the service and brand to make life smoother and neater for the people in Bucks County.
MR: I believe that NEAT will be such a great addition to Bucks County. There are so many beautiful homes in the area and I know that by making them NEAT we are not only complimenting their charm but also providing systems and functions to meet our clients needs and lifestyle.
NM : What did you do before NEAT?
TL : Prior to joining NEAT I worked in international affairs.
MR: I worked for the NEAT Method Philadelphia team under Cait Sirianni who is now a regional director and before that I worked in Public Relations.
NM : What makes your city unique?
TL : Bucks County is amazing! Small town living with easy access to BOTH Philadelphia and New York. Bucks County is filled with charming and vibrant small towns, wonderful local boutiques and restaurants, and idyllic nature trails and covered bridges. Situated along the Delaware River, its home to many historic sites, including George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River.
MR: Bucks County is a perfect mix of old and new. With a variety of historic builds and new construction, the towns each have their own charming attributes. There are so many pockets of Bucks that feel like small towns with main streets, little shops, beautiful landscapes, and more!
NM : How long have you lived in your city?
TL : I’ve lived in Philadelphia for more than 15 years.
MR: I have lived in the neighboring Montgomery County for the last 20+ years.
NM : What are your favorite places to eat in your city?
TL : I really enjoy eating along the Delaware River. I like Stella of New Hope and the Yardley Inn. The Washington Crossing Inn reminds me of going to the restaurant at George Washington’s home, the Mount Vernon Inn, for special occasions when I was growing up.
MR: My family loves to visit Peddlers Village in the spring and we have enjoyed trying out the different restaurants in that area.
NM : What do you think is going to be your favorite part of running NEAT in your city?
TL : I’m excited to help make clients’ lives smoother and neater and expand the NEAT brand. I’m also excited by the variety of homes we will be working in, from new builds to historic row homes, to farmhouses and the opportunities and challenges each space will provide.
MR: It will be so fun to see all of the different and unique houses in Bucks County. It will be so fun to hopefully one week work in a new build with custom cabinets to then being challenged by updating an original kitchen with our systems and solutions.
NM : What can people expect when they hire you to organize their home?
TL : I became a professional organizer to help people and create beautiful, peaceful spaces. As a NEAT Method organizer I will work with you to understand your needs to create a space that is functional and sustainable for your lifestyle, as well as in keeping with your style. The finished space will be personalized to you.
MR: They can expect to have two organizers with years of experience who truly love to create tailored systems based on our clients lifestyle. We will bring the white glove experience to each and every job and creating spaces that are not just pretty to look at but also functional and maintainable.
NM : What is your favorite organizing product?
TL : I love NEAT Method’s medium Perforated Baskets. They are so versatile both in the variety of spaces in which they can be used and how they can be used. They really contribute to creating neat and functional spaces.
MR: I love our Oxford Bins for closets. I am guilty of buying different bins over and over again only to be met with the same frustrations of "they just don't work the way I want them to!" Our Oxfords are the right amount of structure that makes it easy to keep folds nice and tight. I also love our Perforated Baskets. As the mom of 4 girls I know how important it is for everyone to have their own space and the perforated divider that works in so many spaces.
NM : Those bins are a few of our favorites too! Anything else we should know?
MR: We met while working together at NEAT Philly! We got to know each other while switching hangers, filling spice jars, and perfecting folds. We talked about how much we loved the NEAT brand often and our desires to grow in the company and when the opportunity came about to open in Bucks County, we were so excited to be the ones to make it happen!
We're so glad that you did! Congratulations on launching Bucks County. We’re thrilled to have you join NEAT.
xx
